The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) is looking for professional immigrants to visit the website and provide feedback through an online survey. Participation should take about 20-45 minutes. To show our appreciation for their valuable time and input, participants will receive a mailed $25 gift card. We are looking for professional immigrants who meet the following criteria:
- Have arrived in Alberta within the last 10 years
- Have their permanent residency or naturalized Canadian citizenship
- Have at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from country of origin
Over the past two years, The Immigrant Education Society (TIES) and the University of Michigan have been conducting a study on the experiences and challenges of professional newcomers as they settle in Canada. The study is funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Drawing from the research findings, we developed “The Seeker” – a resource hub that provides consolidated information to aid immigrant professionals in re-establishing their careers in Alberta.
