National Indigenous Peoples Day Wed June 21
The National Association of Japanese Canadians joins Indigenous Peoples on this 2023 National Indigenous Peoples Day in solidarity.
We commit to reconciliation. We will learn about the history of Indigenous Peoples and the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. As noted in their final report in 2015, “Without truth…there can be no genuine reconciliation.”
We urge all Canadians to take meaningful action.
