The Japanese Canadian Community in Winnipeg will be hosting a fund raising event to assist the people of Japan during this devastating time of recovery and rebuilding of their country. We are proud to join the Global Community in extending our support and aid in this most important work. We are very hopeful that with the support of many countries in the world, the people of Japan will heal and recover from this horrific disaster.
The fund raising event will consist of presentations from various politicians, refreshments, entertainment and a Silent Auction. Donations will be gratefully accepted and forwarded to the Canadian Red Cross, for their Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Appeal. We welcome all who are able to attend on the following:
