2024 Japanese Canadian Young Leaders Conference

The Japanese Canadian Young Leaders Conference is a weekend-long conference to connect, educate and learn from young Japanese Canadians or Nikkei involved with the Japanese Canadian community.

The Japanese Canadian Young Leaders Conference was held annually from 2012-2018, but for the first time since the Pandemic, the NAJC’s Young Leaders Committee (YLC) is bringing the conference back!

Date: Friday, May 31 – Sunday, June 2

Location: Toronto – York University (Keele)

Hotel: York University (Keele) – Pond Residence

The conference will consist of workshops, presentations and a social gathering, and is an important opportunity for young Japanese Canadian community leaders or future leaders to connect, discuss our needs, interests and vision for the future of the community, and share knowledge and information.

The conference is organized by the NAJC’s YLC, with funding provided by the NAJC and the Canada Race Relations Foundation.
