Alex Okuda-Rayfuse – Task Team Chair: Communications, Promotion and Marketing
Alex is a yonsei on his mother’s side. Based in Ottawa, Alex is a member of the Ottawa Japanese Community Association board, joining in 2017, and chair of the NAJC’s Young Leaders Committee. Alex studied at Queen’s University in Kingston, where he earned a BA (Hons) in History with a minor in Philosophy. He currently works for Elections Canada, coordinating planning activities and supporting election administrators across the country.
Alex hopes to leverage his experience working with the OJCA and YLC, organizing events and initiatives, and engaging members of the Japanese Canadian community and general public, to support NAJC member organizations with their communications, marketing and promotional activities.
