An Afternoon with Setsuko Thurlow: A Historic Community Gathering Featuring the Film The Vow from Hiroshima

80 Years On: Learning from Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Together with the Next Generation

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of film, culture, and conversation, hosted by Japanese New Immigrants Committee(JNIC), Human Rights Committee , the Hamilton Chapter of the NAJC and Toronto Japanese Prefectural Association.
This special event features The Vow from Hiroshima, an intimate and moving documentary that shares the story of Setsuko Thurlow—a member of the Order of Canada, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and a survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing. She has dedicated her life to nuclear disarmament and peace advocacy.
