Japanese Canadian perspectives on ethnocultural identity

Calling all Japanese Canadians!

Take part in a research study exploring perspectives on Japanese Canadian identity. Your input matters! The survey is anonymous, quick (15 minutes), and open to all generations.

Hi there! My name is Elizabeth Fujita, and I’m a student with the Chung Lab in the Psychology Department at the University of Toronto Mississauga. As part of my research project, I’m recruiting participants for an anonymous, 15 minute online survey about Japanese Canadian perspectives on their identity.

This study involves completing a series of online multiple choice questions that will ask you for your thoughts and feelings about being Japanese Canadian. I’ll also be asking some demographic questions about your background. And please know, if you start the survey and decide you no longer want to participate, there’s no penalty or obligation to complete it – simply close the browser and any incomplete data will be deleted!

To be eligible for this study you must be:
Able to read and understand English
At least 18 years of age or older
Self-identify as Japanese Canadian (any generation or immigration status is fine!)
