Due to popular demand, the National Association of Japanese Canadians is planning a tour of Japan in 2025. This tour will be custom-designed and targeted to Japanese Canadians that may not speak Japanese, but want to visit their ancestral homeland.
The 10-day tour originates in Tokyo and ends in Osaka, with stops in Hakone (near Mount Fuji), Kyoto/Nara and Hiroshima. We also plan to spend 1-2 additional days attending the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. Participants can also elect to arrive earlier or extend their trip too. Tours are currently being planned for mid-May and late September 2025, but other tour dates can be added if interest warrants.
Leading up to tour, we will be holding orientation sessions for tour participants talking about Japanese customs, traditions and travel trips and tricks. There will also be opportunities to plan optional outings at many of the stops. Guides will accompany the tour group along the way.
Join us for a no-obligation, information session where we will discuss additional details about the tour and answer any questions that you may have. The session will be conducted over Zoom, but we are asking people to pre-register for the session.
