3月開催のオンラインイベント録画を公開しました

3月７日に開催されたオンラインイベント「意気Togo！共感サークル」の録画動画を公開しました。

ゲスト：ノーム・リーチ (Norm Leech) 

Norm Leech: Executive Director for Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House in Vancouver; former Director for the Vancouver Aboriginal Community Policing Centre. He speaks widely on inter-generational trauma due to colonization, and a trainer in Restorative Justice practices. He grew up in East Vancouver, with ancestry in the T’it’q’et community of the St’at’imc nation where he has served as Chief and as Administrator. He draws on his experiences as a recovering alcoholic/ addict, inter-generational survivor, and spiritual explorer to inform his current work engaged in numerous boards and committees in the region.

ノーム・リーチ (Norm Leech) は、バンクーバーにおけるFrog Hollow Neighbourhood House の専務取締役を務める。植民地化による世代間トラウマについて広く講演を行っています。彼は東バンクーバーで育ち、St’at’imc 族の T’it’q’et コミュニティーにルーツを持ち、そこで族長（チーフ）や管理者としての役職を歴任しました。彼は、アルコール・薬物依存からの回復者、世代間のトラウマを経験した生存者、精神的探求者としての自身の経験を活かし、現在、地域の様々な理事会や委員会で活動しています。

Mimi (she/her):  Uninvited settler on the land of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ / selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations — colonially known as Vancouver; social worker and board member of the GVJCCA. She is also the founding member of the Hummingbird Project.

ミミ：バンクーバーとして知られる、xʷməθkʷəy̓əm（マスキーム）、Skwxwú7mesh（スクワミッシュ）、səlilwətaɬ / selilwitulh（ツレイル・ワウトゥス）民族の土地に暮らす移住者。ソーシャルワーカー、グレーターバンクーバー日系カナダ人市民協会の理事。Hummimgbird Projectの発足メンバー。

Mariko Kage immigrated to Canada in her early teens. Her background includes modern dance, community counselling, and Aikido. She resides in the traditional unceded St’at’imc (Interior Salish) territory, facilitating cultural wellness programs in area Indigenous communities. She is a founding member of Japanese New Immigrants Committee (JNIC) and its subcommittee “Iki Togo” (meaning ‘joining hearts’) hosting online Sharing Circles for Ijyusha for 3 years. In 2022. She is pursuing a MA in Interdisciplinary Studies at Royal Roads University and co-founded the Society for Our Grandmother Earth in 2024,with her husband, Norm Leech engaging in various intercultural initiatives to raise awareness and promote understanding of Indigenous Peoples.

鹿毛真理子 : 東京出身。10代でカナダへ移住し、異文化の中でアイデンティティを模索する経験を通じて多様性と人権への関心を深める。ロサンゼルスでの生活や、帰国後に日系コミュニティ（JCCA/HRC）での支援活動を経て、先住民族の家族と共に暮らし、自然や文化、祈りの中にある「つながりの力」を学ぶ。現在は教育・青少年支援・地域づくりに携わりながら、日系と先住民の歴史をつなぐ活動を続けている。2021年以来NAJC 附属のJNIC （日系新移住者委員会）発足メンバー、日系アメリカ人のイナ博士が提唱する「コミュニティ・ベースのヒーリング・サークル」形式をJNICに紹介し、「意気統合（Iki Togo／心をつなぐ）」小委員会を立ち上げ、日本語版の形式を適応させ、移住者向けの「意気 Togo・シェアリング・サークル」のチーム養成と主催を担当する。現在、ロイヤル・ローズ大学にて学際的研究（Interdisciplinary Studies）の修士課程に取り組み、在学中。

Miki Takabayashi is a founding member of the Japanese New Immigrant Committee (JNIC) under the National Association of Japanese Canadians (NAJC), and has served as Co-Chair alongside Mariko Kage. She continues to promote the preservation of Nikkei history and the creation of inclusive spaces where anyone—new immigrants and allies alike—can participate in inclusive community-building across Canada. Together with Mariko Kage and Norm, Miki organizes Indigenous Worldviews Workshops for educators, university, and high school students from Japan. She believes that Indigenous teachings hold essential wisdom for solving today’s global challenges—reminding us that our Great Grandmother Earth sustains us, and that disconnection is the root of all problems. By reconnecting with people and living in harmony with nature, we can move toward healing and collective well-being. Born in Japan, Miki first came to Canada in 1992 as a student. She completed her university and graduate studies in the U.S., U.K., and Japan, and has been living in Canada since 2010.

🌸 日本語プロフィール高林美樹（Miki Takabayashi）全カナダ日系人協会（NAJC）傘下の新移住者委員会（JNIC）の設立メンバーであり、鹿毛まりこ氏と共に共同議長を務めた。日系史の継承と、誰もが参加できる新移住者コミュニティづくりを通して、カナダ全国のネットワークを広げている。また、鹿毛氏およびNorm氏と共に「先住民の世界観」ワークショップを企画し、日本からの教育関係者や大学生・高校生向けに提供。「わたしたちは偉大なる祖母である地球に生かされている。断絶こそがすべての問題の始まりであり、人とつながり、自然と共に生きることでこそ解決が見えてくる」という先住民の教えを大切にしながら、持続可能で共生的な未来のための活動を続けている。日本生まれ。1992年に留学を機にカナダへ。アメリカ、イギリス、日本で大学・大学院課程を修了後、2010年より再びカナダに定住。
