We are excited to share registration information for next month’s event From Mio, the community-based public history symposium! This one-day gathering, held in-person and online, will contribute to the building of Japanese Canadian identities by connecting descendants with the pre-war, wartime and post-war experiences of immigrants from Mio, Wakayama. Mio is also known as America-mura, due to the high rate of pre-war immigration to North America.
