With respect and gratitude for Indigenous peoples who are the traditional stewards of the lands and waters where we work and live. We acknowledge our national office is located on the traditional territories of Treaty 7, which include the Blackfoot Confederacy, (comprising of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation, and the Stoney Nakoda Nations (including Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney First Nations). We also acknowledge that the city of Calgary is home to the Métis Nations District 5 and 6.

The National Association of Japanese Canadians (NAJC) represents the Japanese community in Canada. It was founded in 1947 with its main objectives being the strengthening of the Japanese community and equality of human rights. The NAJC played a large role in getting the federal government to admit the wrongs committed against the Japanese Canadian community during and after World War II.
