3rd Ijusha Zadankai public meeting

Japanese immigrants from Japan living in various parts of Canada, work and student visa holders, permanent residents and people with Japanese descent who hold Canadian citizenship are invited to freely share their experiences as well as their unique perspectives. Presented by NAJC Japanese New Immigrant Committee(JNIC). June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day

“On this National Indigenous Peoples Day and every day, we stand in solidarity,” said Lorene Oikawa, NAJC President. “Canadians must take meaningful action. We must learn about the history of Indigenous peoples and the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This is part of our commitment to reconciliation.”
