Toronto NAJC Launch of Digitized Book, Japanese Canadian Redress, The Toronto Story

The Toronto NAJC  invites you to join us on Tuesday, September 22 at 7pm EDT for an action packed hour to launch the digitized version of the 375-page book, Japanese Canadian Redress, The Toronto Story with guests Bryce Kanbara, Maryka Omatsu, Kevin Okabe, NAJC Executive Director and Melisa Kamibayashi, President of the Ottawa Japanese Community Association.

The program includes video highlights of key moments in JC history, shared memories and reflections of those who helped pave the way for the historic agreement and how this legacy lives on. A link to Japanese Canadian Redress, The Toronto Story will be provided and an Honour Song performed at the end of 2018 Redress Gala held at the TIFF Bell Lightbox will be aired. The first 50 registrants will be entered in a draw for copies of On Being Yukiko by Jeff Chiba Stearns and Lilian Blakey, due for release in November.
